Scientology’s much-anticipated new Paris ‘Ideal Org’ has been on the cusp of opening for months, with leader David Miscavige teasing pictures at the November IAS (International Association of Scientologists) gala and once again building hype at their new years’ event with a promise it would be ready by the end of January.
Today, a well-placed inside source has confirmed the new IAS-sponsored Paris Org is set to open its doors, finally, on Saturday 6th April – 3 months later than planned. Located a stone’s throw away from the Stade de France, which is set to be the central hub for the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, the Org occupies the former Samsung Electronics headquarters and was purchased for €33 million ($36mil USD / £28.5mil GBP) back in 2017.
This year has seen a string of Ideal Orgs opening across North America with ribbon-cutting ceremonies taking place in Mexico, Chicago and Austin. Scientology leader David Miscavige is expected to make the trip across the Atlantic to host the opening ceremony, but will he apply for the appropriate work visa?
